Once again, the organisers of the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show are working closely with the PC team to bring the magazine to life in the Practical Classics World area when the show returns to Birmingham’s NEC from 22-24 March 2024.

From the page to the stage, the Practical Classics World will give you an up-close view of all your favourite PC magazine features and a chance to meet the fantastic team who create them.

Divided into four areas, motoring enthusiasts will have plenty to keep them entertained and informed across the three-day celebration of rustic gems, resto projects and pristine classics.

The PC Workshop will see a live restoration over the three days of the show. For this show, which marks the tenth anniversary of the event, PC Workshop Editor Matt Tomkins will be tackling the resto of his 1968 Mini MkII Countryman.

Last on the road in 1977, the Countryman is a proper barn find and was in the show’s Barn Find display a few years ago. Matt’s intention is to have the Mini as a painted shell by the show so he can fit it out during the weekend with the help of the PC team and special guests.

The PC team don’t just write about cars, they live and breathe them! See the cars that they have laughed, cried and swore about whilst getting them on the road and keeping them there with the Staff Car Sagas display. Share in the stories of their vehicles and learn from their experiences and mistakes!

To commemorate ten years of the show, the PC team is bringing a selection of the best restorations that have featured in the magazine for you to enjoy all over again as they present PC’s Greatest Hits. Find out what has happened to the vehicles beyond the resto with updates from the owners.

The final area of the Practical Classics World is the Your Shout Stage – the place where it is all about you, your questions, your needs, your issues, your shout!

From buying to selling, planning to restoring, maintaining to mechanics, you tell us what you want to know and the PC team, along with our special guests, will deliver!
