Last weekend the Car Club team, Paris and Sam, travelled across to the Cotswolds for another MG event, this time it was MG’s in the Park. The event is held at Cotswold Wildlife Park, where the team arrived nice and early to get set up for the day.
The show opened at 9am and the cars soon started rolling in. There was certainly plenty to look at with cars ranging from 1940s right through to the newer models, even electric! The crowds gathered to admire these incredible vehicles and had the chance to wander around the venue as well as check out all those that had entered this year’s Pride of Ownership competition. After a few hours of deciding amongst the judges, it was time for Paris to present the Lancaster Insurance sponsored trophies. There were multiple winners for various categories, however, the title that everyone was hoping to win was ‘Car of the Show’ and this went to Craig Rumbelow with his MG Maestro Turbo, and what a car that was! Well done, Craig.
The Lancaster team thoroughly enjoyed their day amongst the MGOC members and cannot wait to be back next year.
