Lancaster Insurance visit Practical Classics workshop!

As long-time readers of Practical Classics, the Lancaster Insurance team were delighted to receive an extended invite to see the PC workshop. Hosted by Danny, James and Matt Tomkins; the team were in their element getting a tour of the premises and seeing just how much magic happens behind those unassuming shutters!
The team were transfixed by a project Reliant and a rather tasty Mini belonging to Matt, who told us that it hasn’t been on the road since the 1970s – what a find! Plus, with shelves of tools and spares and useful Haynes manuals, the team were like kids in a sweet shop.
For regular readers of Practical Classics, we won’t give too much away on upcoming projects, but it’s safe to say the team really know their stuff and get into the nitty gritty first hand. The tech knowledge shared with us by Danny and his talented team really inspired us to get going with our projects at home, we just wish we had access to that ramp – it would certainly make those hard-to-reach places a little easier to get to!
