Three cheers for 100 years – Jowett car club

Well done to the Jowett Car Club who this year, are celebrating 100 years of their club.

Formed in 1923, the Jowett Car Club claims to be the oldest one-make car club in the world.

The club are still flying the flag high and boldly for the marque, which incredibly hasn’t been in production since the 1950s.

From parts and a thriving spares team with a wealth of knowledge backing it, to friendly members across the globe who are willing to share their experiences and technical know-how to keep these fantastic cars on the road; the original team behind the Jowett brand would be over the moon to see just how much the marque is still loved generations after first launch.

With regular meets across the country, the club continue to delight and inspire and with such dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for these cars. The club who also display at the NEC classic motor show and resto shows are so forward thinking and dynamic, we’d be surprised if 100 years from now the club aren’t celebrating 200 years since launch.

Well done to all those involved, what an incredible feat.
