Club of the month: The Fiat Motor Club (GB)

This month we’re venturing across the Mediterranean and heading to sunnier climes, as the focus of our ‘Club of the Month’ is the iconic and much-loved Fiat!

Back in 1922 when Fiat indicated it was going to produce a 500 Series the Fiat 500 Club was formed, meaning the Club is celebrating its 100-year anniversary – an incredible milestone and testament to the popularity of the marque and of course everyone at the Club! Since its formation, as new models emerged the club's name was expanded to include them until it became impractical to list them all and it was named the Fiat Motor Club (GB) - a name that would encompass old models and those that would be produced in the future.

Member’s cars range from the Fiat 500 (and its modern-day equivalent) to Abarth, with all Fiat models in between - including on occasion one of the more exotic Italian car makes. However, you don’t have to own a Fiat to join, you just need a love for all things Italian, whether that’s cars, food, holidays or lifestyle. Or perhaps it’s all!

There are many benefits to joining the club and here Gill Hague, Membership Secretary at the Fiat Motor Club (GB) tells us a little more:

We are a friendly and helpful traditional car club with a quarterly magazine. Members can receive discounts on insurance from those companies that advertise with us and participate in a scheme offering discounts on the purchase of new Fiats and other group marques. Where we can, we provide help registering and valuing older Fiats. Members can communicate with each other via a dedicated Members Only Facebook page or with the wider Fiat owning community via a Public Facebook page.
