Ford road trip with Kelsey Media

On Saturday 7th August our Own Brands Manager, Dave Bex and Paris Wakelen from our Car Club team joined Classics World’s Joe Miller for a road trip from Haynes International Motor Museum in Yeovil to Ford Fair 2021 at Silverstone.

We took part in our competition giveaway 1984 Escort XR3i, while Joe took the wheel of a Ford Cortina Mk3, Jamie King from Fast Ford had his Mk3 Focus RS and Classics World’s Jeff Ruggles drove his Mk8 Fiesta ST.

Dave said: “It was a very special trip – the combination of a convoy of Fords against the backdrop of a classic English location was something else! The XR3i performed well and was a privilege to drive. Whoever wins this car at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show will be the proud owner of a true classic.”
