When it comes to the penultimate evening of the Practical Classic, Classic Car and Restoration show, there’s no greater place to be than at The National Car Club Awards. Great company, a fantastic dinner and the chance to chat to the driving forces of the classic car industry, the club members themselves!
Clarion’s very own, Lee Masters took to the stage to open the awards ceremony. A slip up in his opening speech filled the hall with laughter and showed a great sense of togetherness! Next to take centre stage was the evening’s host, and Lancaster’s very own Mike ‘The Wheeler Dealer’ Brewer (one half of Lancaster’s Classic Rumble charity initiative).
As ever, Mike presented the awards with charisma and charm, and had the audience sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for the winners to be announced. Lancaster’s trio of Rich Morley, Andrew Evanson and Dave Youngs rose to the occasion and presented our five sponsored awards. Each award was handpicked to reflect the greatest club achievements throughout the year.
On behalf of all at Lancaster Insurance, it gave us great pleasure to present the awards to the worthy winners, all of who can be seen below. We’d also like to offer a special mention to Rosie Hamilton, from the Morris Minor Owners club who won the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. We wish you all the best in your retirement Rosie!
