The R107 was the follow-up to the beautiful Pagoda SL’s of the late sixties and was so popular it was built up until 1989, making it the 2nd longest single production model that Mercedes ever made.
The SL came with a variety of engines from 2.8L all the way up to a mighty 5.6 and this iconic Mercedes also came in 4-seater guise from 1971 to 1981, and was called the SLC or C107. The SLC looked just as stunning but with the added bonus of having room for the kids and golf clubs!
