Classic Police Cars through the decades

I’ve always had a secret love for classic police cars, especially the traffic cars, and wondered what it must have been like for those brave officers once they hit the ‘blues and twos’ and the adrenalin kicked in. Today’s police cars are fitted with the latest technology including ANPR, but 50 years ago there was very little to differentiate them from a standard road car.

Just like me, there are a growing number of enthusiasts who share my interest in these amazing cars and there are a number of clubs set up to cater for this love of police cars.

I thought I’d share my own top 10 favourite police cars from the 1960’s through to the 90’s and I’d love to know what your top 10 are?
